JOHN KEPPER RUGS

John Kepper was a citizen of Salisbury and a friend to many, generous to the Salisbury Historical Society both in gifts and time donated as well.  If you were fortunate, John would show you his rugs. He selectively gave rugs to friends as gifts but many remained rolled and stored throughout his home in closets and under beds.  We are able to display quite a few in the Historical Society.

Many will remember Dr. John Keeper but for those who do not this is a link to his bio page. https://www.salisburyhistoricalsociety.org/john-kepper

 RUGS#16, #17 & #18

These three rugs make a great trio and they are also available separately. While they are “traditional” their colors work together to make the flowers bright. The scarlet flowers pop! These rugs would be very interesting in a modern setting as well as they have beautiful minimal styling.
